Thin Shell Rice: A Delicacy from Guangdong

Thin Shell Rice, also known as ‘Jian Mi’, is made from fresh clams after processing. It has a delicious taste and offers health benefits such as regulating blood lipids, preventing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and relieving cough and asthma.

Ingredients:


– Thin Shell Rice: 100g


– Thin Rice Sheets: 200g


– Oyster Sauce: 1 tablespoon


– Scallions: 3 stalks



Instructions:


1. Wash and chop the scallions, then set aside.


2. Cut the purchased or homemade thin rice sheets into pieces approximately 16cm long and 9cm wide, then arrange them on a plate.


3. Heat oil in a pan, add the scallions, and stir-fry briefly. Then, add the Thin Shell Rice and oyster sauce, stir-frying for a short time without overcooking.


4. Place a spoonful of the cooked mixture onto each thin rice sheet, roll them up one by one, arrange on a plate, and steam for 10 minutes.



The remaining Thin Shell Rice and scallions can be used for garnish. This dish is a tasty snack that helps regulate blood lipids and prevent cardiovascular diseases, ready to be enjoyed!
